All day January 14th I was tearing up remembering last year and my adventure called labor. After hours of contractions, a wonderful epidural and 45 minutes of pushing, Isaac Lorenz blessed our lives. I can't believe my baby is ONE! Here are some snapshots of party day!

Happy Belated Merry Christmas

The year has flown by, right under my nose and left me wondering, where did it go?! Do you feel the same way? I’m sure our unusual situation hasn’t helped as we are anxious to get in our own house and get back to some normalcy. Being Isaac’s first Christmas it was extra special and un dampened by the evil stomach bug that has been flying around relentlessly. We spent Christmas Eve with my family (Aunt Brittany and uncle Neil were thrilled to have Isaac to play with) which was wonderful!

Mom made a delicious breakfast casserole, a side of cold fruit and to top it all off…the Disney Christmas parade, of cOurSe!

Next we visited with family at my grandma and Grandpa Sargent’s house...
MiCkEy! “hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog…”

After a wonderful lunch, we headed over to Matts parent’s house. Sarah and Peter were in town from Colorado and the Carson bunch was over as well.

It had been a long, but good day! As for last minute decisions, while driving home Matt & I finally decided to join my family in the morning on a vacation to Tennessee…
