Isaac meets "The Mouse"
well...sorta...at least he would've if he wasn't sleeping...
I don’t know who was more excited about going to Disney, Isaac or Me! Okay, I do know—I was.
It was a blast! Saturday, we went with the Shaws to Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom and even though the first hour we were there was a little misty, after that the weather was great.
It was Isaac and his buddy Jacob’s first time and they were perfect! We rode the Kilimanjaro Safari early in the morning and all of the animals were out feeding—and not the animatronic ones…Then we saw the Broadway musical, ‘Finding Nemo’…The whole 30 minutes were awesome…The songs, costumes, special effects…at one point, bubbles coated the entire audience. The Magic Kingdom had more guests but was just as beautiful…Thankfully, the filming of the Christmas parade was postponed due to clouds so we didn’t have to compete with extra people, film crews and detours.
Disney has limited characters around the park for you to get pictures with but if you “tour” Mickey’s house in toontown, they take you in a room to have a more personal visit. Normally, there’s around five families in a “private” room at a time but they must have been getting a break after us because it was just us and the Shaws with Mickey and Minnie. We waited about 25 mins in line to see them (something I never realized I’d do…then babies came along!) and once we get to our meeting room—Isaac had fallen asleep on daddy. Figures. =) We spent about 10 mins with them though; they were so sweet and patient. Jacob LOVED them!

To see more about our Disney day, visit the Shaw’s at www.shaw-faily.blogspot.com.
We also saw characters during the parade—Isaac never cried; He wasn’t afraid of them but certainly liked observing them from a distant, rather than up close. There were about 5 that came up to see him! Alice even talked to him from her float!
“I like your hat!”
Decorated for Christmas
Matt proposed to me up behind that middle window =)
It was a day of firsts…
Disney employees gave Isaac and Jacob their “Its my first visit to Disney” button, Isaac tried funnel cake for the first time—obviously loved it—“What a sweet mess!” and we got him an ornament to remember his first day and Disney AND his first Christmas!

Falling for Fall!
Hello! Time flys! We are doing wonderful and although are dearly missing having a home and internet =) we are still blessed! Our contract is still in the bank's court but ultimately in God's hands-so we aren't worried, just anxious to get settled soon. Short sales are a bear! (Well, actually, Bank of America Fannie Mae loans are a bear)
Isaac is now over his pink eye and 2nd ear infection...He is such a tough little one...I would have never known anything was wrong but the corner of his eye was a lil red. GEEZE HE is GROWING! He's into standing, 'the Wonder Pets' and eating a lot! He will just be sitting in the middle of the room and decide to stand. Then he'll shake whatever toy he happens to be playing with and sings! So funny! He is also eating some of his "school lunches" which the menu this week included, pizza, sub snadwich (hot dog bun style) and Baked Ziti with a breadstick...He ate sooo much and Loooves his big boy food! He cries if we are eating something he deems it Isaac worthy and doesn't get it...oooo boy....
My deal of the month...I found this Mickey Mouse airplane at a garage sale and after a deep scrub, it was the best $2 I've spent (retail $40)
Mickey talks to you and the propeller spins and lights up...cute!
A month ago we went back to North Carolina with friends and had a wonderful time! The pictures usually tell the story so here we go...
Fall's changes

It was awesome! I made homemade doughnuts, we had plenty of fires and bought pumpkins at the local vegetable stand. Later, we went down to the valley and also took some family shots...check it out
