Hagley-Humphreys Wedding Preview

We recently flew up to Wisconsin for Matt's cousin's wedding. It was Isaac's first time on a plane and he actually did better than I did (i don't like to fly!). Besides the circling of Chicago for 40 mins b/c the tower in Milwaukee was evacuated due to high winds, us driving through tornadoes and not having our luggage for 24 hrs (it was still on the ground in Chicago) it was pretty un-eventful. Quite a wonderful story if you have a couple of mins sometime..
Anyway, the wedding--
I was asked to be the 2nd photographer and was thrilled at the opportunity! Photos should be a great for a portfolio and Matt and I are working on my website! Let me know if you have a need for a photographer =)

These are the before the ceremony shots:

we can use my hammer to change the batteries...

Isaac brought us his Mickey Mouse who sings and dances at the push of a button. However, Mickey's act was slurred and sluggish and was stopping mid jingle-- Isaac kept saying "UH OH!" So Matt told Isaac, "we can fix it". Then Isaac replied, "Handy Manny!" (oh brother-- ode to Disney channel)

"HOT DOG!" He works!
Thanks Daddy.

our latest projects

This is Isaacs nap mat that i just finished! So excited that it came out pretty decent!

I was thrilled when he knew what to do with it!

All rolled up

Also, Matt and his dad poured this slab to extend our porch area and did a great job! The area he left next to the window will hold plants soon. We dont plan on keeping it a dirt box i mean.

ChEeriO LoVe!

PEEKABOO! We're still here!

We've been busy living and loving our life! Yea! to our friends Adam and Angela Shaw who just had a sweet baby boy, Parker Christian and happy birthday to Jon and Nikki Peters who celebrate their 30th a week apart! On the homefront, Isaac has had a rough few weeks with teething, night terrors and separation anxiety (fun stuff) and throw in some pre-mature terrible twos tantrums and the photos above are the rare, happy, innocent moments. He has been getting better and is talking like CRAZY! He likes to tell you, "HAve a good day!" Matt has been improving our home and has added an additional concrete slab to our back porch area. I have been planning wedding and baby showers, working on my photography and making Isaac a nap mat for his new, "big boy class" at school. School days will start in a week and it'll be nice to get back into a routine. Photos to come on our latest projects! Hope you had a splendid weekend!
