My friend, Jenny had a party for some close friends and family the day she had her 20 week ultrasound done and it was, more or less, a "gender reveal". Some pictures of the night...

The theme was, "what's it Gonna Bee?" Black, white and yellow throughout...

It was time to cut the cake and finally let everyone know if their baby is going to be a girl or a boy....

Water Fun

Saturday was a great, lazy day. We painted the guest room & hung drapes before lunch. Isaac was so good, playing with his toys/puzzles and talking to us while we worked. Then we spent some time outside before a lovely dinner and putting Isaac to bed. Ahhhh...the weekend!Afterwards we watched a movie (which Matt said was stupid...PS I Love You ...i think he didn't enjoy the whole, widow struggling to get over the passing of her husband...we dont do well with sad or scary movies =)

everyone loves a wedding

These posts have been a little behind and out of order but I figure I’d tell myself that I’m being successful anyway for at least benchmarking the big (and sometimes small) things that we love about life.

Our first week in the new house was a whirlwind. Monday & Tuesday after work we bought fans and light fixtures and Matt installed them while I tried to make a bigger dent in the unpacking process. Wednesday, was more of the same with the added on trip to the nail salon with my sister as are bridesmaids in our cousin’s wedding. We left Thursday morning for a Thurs evening rehearsal and dinner. Their beautiful wedding was Friday evening and Saturday was travel day home. BREATHE! Okay--
