Our family/friends the Lovings have a wonderful pontoon boat and lake house in Taveres. We had lunch at Al's Landing (food is so yummy and atmosphere is fun-open to the water, live music, my style of mismatched furniture...) and took the boat out on the lake and cruised down the canal. We saw a lot of birds, a gator and a bunny! (okay so the bunny was a lawn ornament-prob wouldn't have a long and prosperous life next to the rivers) But we also saw a cotton mouth snake and a gnome! (okay so the gnome was a lawn ornament too...)
